Using Search and Filters

BookStack’s search feature helps you find content quickly. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Access the Search Bar:

    • Find the search bar at the top of any BookStack page.

  2. Search for Content:

    • Type keywords related to what you’re looking for (e.g., “user guide” or “product info”).

    • Press Enter to see results, which may include books, chapters, or pages.

  3. Filter Results:

    • Use filters (if available) to narrow results by type (e.g., pages only) or date.

    • Look for filter options above the search results.

  4. Live Preview:

    • As you type, a live preview may show matching results below the search bar (if enabled).

Tip: If you know the exact page title, try typing it for faster results. You can also search within a specific book by opening it first.
